Webcast: Navigating Family and Matrimonial Issues during the COVID-19 Pandemic: What Happens When Courts Aren’t Available?

Kasowitz Benson Torres matrimonial and family law partners Kelly A. Frawley and Emily S. Pollock will be conducting a webinar on “Navigating Family and Matrimonial Issues during the COVID-19 Pandemic: What Happens When Courts Aren’t Available?” hosted by Lawline.  Ms. Frawley and Ms. Pollock will discuss how to handle custody and financial issues arising from the COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders, including how to resolve these issues outside of the courtroom.  They will also discuss what issues the courts, which in New York are now largely closed except for emergency matters, will likely consider an emergency justifying court intervention during the coronavirus pandemic.
