Paul “Tad” M O’Connor III is the co-chair of Kasowitz Benson Torres’ real estate litigation practice, and has significant experience representing major private equity firms, financial institutions, real estate developers and owners, hotel operators, corporations and high-net-worth individuals in commercial disputes and real estate matters involving major commercial and hotel properties in the US and Europe, including the representation of hotel operators in disputes with owners, in federal and state courts and before arbitration tribunals in the US and Europe.
David Szeker is the chair of Kasowitz Benson Torres’ real estate transactions group, and has significant experience representing leading developers, investors, and owners in all aspects of commercial real estate law, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, the negotiation and formation of joint ventures, and office and retail leasing. He also advises on defaulted mezzanine loans, UCC foreclosure actions and other complex defaulted financing transactions.
Darwin Huang is a real estate transactions partner at Kasowitz Benson Torres who represents developers, investors, owners, and lenders in transactional real estate matters, including acquisitions/dispositions and financings of commercial, condominium, hotel and mixed-use properties, as well leasing of office and retail space. He also regularly advises on loan workouts, foreclosures, joint ventures, leasing and licensing agreements.
