AmBase is a former indirect equity investor in the project; JDS Development is the project’s developer. In 2020, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department unanimously affirmed a lower court’s orders dismissing all claims against Kasowitz’s client. The article also discusses Mr. Szeker’s representation of JDS Development in connection with the project.
