Kasowitz Welcomes Rachel Gorsky Bombach as Policy Advisor

Kasowitz Benson Torres is pleased to announce that Rachel Gorsky Bombach has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as a policy advisor in its Government Affairs and Strategic Counsel group led by former Senator Joseph Lieberman and former Connecticut Attorney General and Senate Chief of Staff Clarine Nardi Riddle.

Ms. Bombach has more than 20 years of public policy and national security experience with service in Congress, the National Security Council, and the Intelligence Community.  She has experience with legislative and executive branch policymaking, congressional appropriations and oversight, and as senior analyst, briefer and leader on high-profile issues.

Prior to joining Kasowitz, Ms. Bombach served at the Central Intelligence Agency where she led a team responsible for producing a wide range of intelligence products in support of U.S. foreign policy, national security objectives and operational priorities.  She previously served as Legislative Director for Senator Dianne Feinstein where she drove Senator Feinstein’s legislative agenda, developing and implementing strategy to advance policy priorities and legislative goals, especially in appropriations, national security, defense and foreign policy.  Prior to that, she served as Senator Feinstein’s Senior Defense and Foreign Policy Adviser, where she provided oversight of Department of Defense programs.  Ms. Bombach has also served in various roles with the National Security Council, National Counterterrorism Center, Federal Bureau of Investigation and National Security Agency.

Kasowitz’s Government Affairs and Strategic Counsel group provides public policy advocacy and strategic counsel to individuals, firms, non-profits and trade associations at the intersection of law, business and public policy.  The group combines strategic counseling, substantive policy knowledge, and insiders’ experience and perspectives on Capitol Hill to support the firm’s clients.
