Kasowitz Welcomes Amit R. Vora and Donald Reinhard as Special Counsel
Kasowitz Benson Torres is pleased to announce that Amit R. Vora and Donald Reinhard have joined Kasowitz as Special Counsel in the firm’s New York office.
Amit R. Vora
Mr. Vora, former Assistant Solicitor General with the New York State Attorney General’s Office, focuses his practice on appellate litigation in federal and state courts. He has represented companies and individuals in commercial, securities, and bankruptcy disputes, and has handled complex civil matters involving the First Amendment, jurisdiction, and issues of first impression. During his service with the New York State Attorney General's Office, Mr. Vora litigated appeals across a wide range of constitutional, administrative, and public interest issues, including before the U.S. Supreme Court, and delivered numerous oral arguments before the Second Circuit and New York State's Appellate Division. He also has extensive experience litigating in the D.C Circuit, the Seventh Circuit, and other appellate courts.
Donald Reinhard
Mr. Reinhard is a trial lawyer with experience litigating complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration. He has represented both Fortune 500 and emerging technology companies, venture and private equity funds, private corporations and partnerships, financial institutions and high net worth individuals in intellectual property disputes (including trademark, trade secret and copyright matters), high stakes commercial litigation, bankruptcy disputes and media/first amendment matters.
