In a post on LinkedIn, Arvin Patel, Chief Licensing Officer New Ventures of Kasowitz client Nokia, a leader in global technology, in congratulating newly promoted Kasowitz partner ThucMinh Nguyen, highlights her unique personal story as an example of “what makes America what it strives to be.”  Minh came to the United States as a political refugee from Vietnam, attended Harvard and Stanford, worked as general counsel to the late Senator John McCain, who, like Minh’s father, was a prisoner of war in Vietnam, and now brings her “unique and indelible perspective to the legal profession.”  Mr. Patel praises partners Marc E. Kasowitz and Jonathan K. Waldrop for “fostering an environment of inclusion that attracts top tier talent.”
