Jonathan E. Algor to Speak at PLI’s Basics of Accounting for Lawyers 2025 Program

Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Jonathan E. Algor will be a featured speaker on the panel “The Internal Control Function and the Impact on Accounting Fraud and Forensic Investigations” as part of PLI’s Basics of Accounting for Lawyers 2025 program. Mr. Algor, along with Brian Ong, Co-Leader of the Forensic Accounting Investigations & Compliance practice at FTI Consulting, and Joanna R. Travalini, Partner at Sidley Austin, will provide an overview of the components of internal control and discuss regulatory requirements, such as SOX and FCPA, with clients. They will also provide guidance on how to work with outside counsel and forensic accountants to perform internal investigations.
