Sheron Korpus Speaks at Economist Impact’s Inaugural General Counsel Summit US
Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Sheron Korpus moderated a roundtable discussion titled, “Crisis Management and the GC,” part of Economist Impact’s inaugural General Counsel Summit US. The event, built on Economist Impact’s long-running General Counsel Summit series in London, examined a wide range of topics that are of most concern for general counsel.
The roundtable, co-presented with Lisa Mather, Vice President and General Counsel at Mars Wrigley, explored different ways for general counsel to approach risk, including how best to work with outside legal counsel and manage internal and external communications. Mr. Korpus discussed how to develop an effective crisis communication plan, when to involve outside counsel to manage litigation risk, and how to deliver results to boards of directors and C-suite executives. The roundtable was held on September 15, 2022 in New York City.
