Mark W. Lerner and Jessica Taub Rosenberg Recognized for Exceptional Legal Writing by The Burton Awards
Kasowitz Benson Torres employment litigation partners Mark W. Lerner and Jessica Taub Rosenberg have been awarded a 2019 Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award by The Burton Awards program, devoted to rewarding excellence in law. The legal writing Award honors lawyers who have written articles that “demonstrate clarity, cogency, and persuasive legal writing.”
Mr. Lerner and Ms. Rosenberg were recognized for their article “When Sexual Harassment Is Also a Crime,” published by the New York Law Journal. In the article, Mr. Lerner and Ms. Rosenberg discuss the overlap between civil and criminal laws governing sexual harassment in the workplace and provide guidance on how employers should respond when potentially criminal sexual conduct is reported in the workplace.
