Chambers Shortlists Kasowitz for a 2019 Diversity and Inclusion Award

Kasowitz has been shortlisted for a 2019 Diversity and Inclusion Award in the category of Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year by Chambers USA.

The firm has been recognized for its partnership, through the Justice Resource Center’s MENTOR program, with the Law Institute at John Dewey High School in Brooklyn, New York, one of the 100 most diverse schools in New York State.  The program provides students with resources to encourage academic achievement, and exposes them to job options in the legal field.  For the past two years, Kasowitz attorneys have coached students in moot court and mock trial competitions, hosted firm visits to educate the students about opportunities in the legal profession, and accompanied the students on court visits.
