Amit R. Vora Appointed to New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction

The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) has appointed Kasowitz partner Amit R. Vora as a Member on its Committee on Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction.  This group includes New York appellate judges and lawyers and is devoted to improving the practice of appellate law and appellate court operations in the State of New York.
 
Amit R. Vora, partner and Chair of the firm’s Appellate & Constitutional Litigation practice group, focuses his practice on complex litigation in federal and state courts, with a particular emphasis on appellate litigation.  His experience includes representing companies and individuals in administrative, commercial, and intellectual property disputes, as well as matters involving the First Amendment, separation of powers, due process, and other constitutional issues.
