Kasowitz Files Lawsuit against Alex Sapir on Behalf of Real Estate Developer Rotem Rosen

Kasowitz Benson Torres, on behalf of real estate developer Rotem Rosen, filed a lawsuit on July 28, 2020 in the Southern District of New York against Rosen’s former business partner Alex Sapir, and a company owned by Sapir, seeking a declaration accelerating a $47.5 million promissory note Sapir issued to Rosen on which Sapir is in default, as well as damages for bringing a frivolous action against Rosen in New York State court in contravention of a release and covenant not to sue, for defamation and for breach of a contractual non-disparagement clause.

The Kasowitz team representing Rotem Rosen is led by Partner Sheron Korpus and includes Special Counsel David M. Max.
