Kasowitz Closes Major Refinancing of Boutique Condo in Manhattan

Kasowitz Benson Torres represented Fine Properties of New York, a leading real estate investment company, in the refinancing of a $35 million construction and inventory loan from Maxim Capital Group for The Elisa, a new boutique ground-up condominium building in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan.  The loan will cover the completion of ongoing construction and finance available inventory.  The building, located at 251 West 14th Street, stands at 11-stories tall, has 25 units, and offers amenities including a gym, a garden with a terrace, private and shared rooftop decks, and storage space dedicated to each unit.
