Brandy Worden Featured Speaker on Privacy and AI Webinar

Kasowitz partner Brandy Worden will be the featured speaker on a webinar titled “Because Even Your AI Needs a Lawyer: The Legal and Ethical Challenges to Developing and Deploying AI,” hosted by the University of California San Diego’s AI Alumni Council as part of its AI Perspective Series.  During the session, Ms. Worden will discuss key impacts of privacy and AI regulations on the development and deployment of AI.  She will also explore ethical challenges that AI presents to companies and highlight strategies for navigating the ever-changing landscape of AI.

Brandy Worden, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, AIGP, FIP, Chair of Kasowitz’s Data Strategy, Privacy, and Security group, and Co-Chair of the firm’s AI industry group, has extensive experience both in-house and as outside counsel, advising companies on global AI, privacy, and technology issues, and related litigation and regulatory investigations.  Ms. Worden also has experience developing and implementing comprehensive privacy and AI strategies and compliance programs.  Prior to joining Kasowitz, she served as the head of a global privacy team at Meta, and previously worked as a privacy partner and practice group leader at another national law firm.
