Kasowitz Partner Brandy Worden Earns Prestigious Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) Designation from IAPP

Brandy Worden, Chair of Kasowitz’s Data Strategy, Privacy and Security team and Co-Chair of its Artificial Intelligence industry group, has earned the prestigious Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the world’s preeminent certifying body for Privacy and AI professionals.  
 
The IAPP awards the FIP designation to leading privacy and/or AI experts who have earned multiple industry leading certifications in privacy and/or AI laws and compliance program management, have significant professional experience in the privacy and AI fields, and have been recognized as leaders and contributors within the privacy community.  The FIP is widely recognized as a mark of distinction among privacy professionals worldwide.
 
The IAPP’s FIP designation recognizes Brandy’s decade of experience in the field that has spanned both leading law firms and heading a global privacy team at Meta as a former Associate General Counsel.  Her experience includes advising companies on AI and privacy counseling, litigation, and regulatory investigations.  It also recognizes the subject matter expertise Brandy has demonstrated through her numerous IAPP certifications including certifications for AI (AIGP), EU (CIPP/E), and U.S. (CIPP/US) privacy law.
