Kasowitz Expands Government Affairs and Strategic Counsel Group in Washington D.C.

Kasowitz is pleased to announce that David A. Miller has joined Kasowitz as Special Counsel in the Government Affairs and Strategic Counsel practice group based in the firm’s Washington D.C. office.

Mr. Miller’s practice focuses on matters related to AI, emerging technologies, and other issues that fall within the jurisdiction of the Senate Commerce and House Energy & Commerce Committees.  Prior to joining Kasowitz, Mr. Miller served as Senior Counsel and Policy Advisor for U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), where he handled various legislative and federal policies relating to innovation, science and space as the primary counsel for the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation.  As Counsel for the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce Committee he led the committee effort to advance the bipartisan American Data Privacy and Protection Act, served as counsel at numerous hearings and markups, and oversaw other policy matters.  Respected across the political spectrum, Mr. Miller has deep experience working on policy, regulatory, oversight and budgetary issues involving AI, data privacy, telecommunications, internet regulation, semiconductors, aviation, commercial space, surface transportation, infrastructure, consumer protection and other related matters.
