Brandy Worden and Frederick Bingham Gain Preeminent Artificial Intelligence Governance Certifications

Kasowitz partner Brandy Worden and associate Frederick Bingham have earned the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (“AIGP”) certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (“IAPP”).  This distinguished credential demonstrates advanced proficiency in the governance of artificial intelligence systems and reflects a comprehensive understanding of AI-related legal, ethical, and operational considerations.  The IAPP is a preeminent certifying body for Privacy and AI professionals.  According to the IAPP, AIGP-certified professionals demonstrate expertise in foundational knowledge of AI systems, their use cases, and impacts; an understanding of responsible AI principles and their application to current and emerging global AI laws and frameworks; comprehension of the AI lifecycle and implementation of responsible AI governance; and understanding and governance of AI development and deployment operations.  
 
Brandy Worden, Chair of Kasowitz’s Data Strategy, Privacy and Security team and Co-Chair of its Artificial Intelligence industry group, now adds this AIGP certification to her additional IAPP certifications in EU and U.S. privacy law.  She has also attained a Harvard Cybersecurity Risk Management certification.  Brandy utilizes her extensive experience both in-house at one of the largest technology companies in the world and at law firms, advising companies on AI and privacy matters, including counseling, litigation and regulatory investigations.
 
Frederick Bingham adds this AIGP certification to his IAPP certifications in EU, U.S., and Canadian privacy law, privacy program management, and privacy technology, as well as his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from the (ISC)2.  Fred utilizes this diverse knowledge in privacy, AI, and cybersecurity to counsel a wide array of clients on cross-domain data strategy and regulatory compliance.
