Kasowitz Represents Tryperion Holdings in Acquisition of Shopping Mall in Tennessee

Kasowitz represented Tryperion Holdings, a commercial real estate investment firm focused on equity and credit opportunities within the U.S. middle market, in its joint venture with Spinoso Real Estate Group for the acquisition and financing of The Mall at Johnson City, a 545,000 square foot regional mall in Johnson City, Tennessee with 6.1 million annual visits.  The partnership combines Spinoso’s national operating platform and Tryperion’s extensive institutional investment expertise.  As the region’s largest traditional enclosed mall, the shopping center draws visitors from a trade area of more than 750,000 residents across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia and its performance is reinforced by its role as the primary enclosed shopping destination within a 100-mile radius, supporting jobs, retail activity, and local economic stability throughout Tennessee's Tri-Cities.

The Kasowitz team representing Tryperion Holdings was led by partners Matthew McElroy and David Szeker and included associates Kathleen M. Maurer and Amanda M. Bradley.
