Kasowitz Benson Torres partners Michael J. Bowe and Stephen W. Tountas participated in the 2nd Annual Financing, Structuring & Investing in Litigation Finance Conference hosted by Information Management Network on June 4, 2019 in New York City.

Michael J. Bowe moderated a panel discussion titled “Working with General Counsels: Opportunities for Corporate Utilization of Litigation Finance.”  Mr. Bowe, along with prominent litigation funders and in-house counsel, discussed, among other topics, the advantages of funding affirmative litigations brought by corporations, for both profit and strategic purposes.

Stephen W. Tountas participated in a panel discussion titled “State of the Market.”  Mr. Tountas, along with other leading litigation finance professionals and attorneys, discussed market trends as well as the opportunity for litigation finance solutions on both the plaintiff and defense side of cases, among other topics.
