Rachel Jacobson Teitler’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, representing corporations and individuals in actions involving a wide variety of issues including products liability, contract and business disputes, and intellectual property disputes. Rachel devotes time to pro bono matters, representing individuals in asylum proceedings and previously serving as a guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children.
Work Highlights
- Age Group in a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia for breaches of contract stemming from Martha Stewart Living’s interference with Age Group’s ability to fully exploit its bargained-for exclusive license to use the Martha Stewart brand on pet products. After successfully defeating motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, as well as subsequent appeals, the matter was resolved on the eve of trial.

- As pro bono counsel, obtained asylum for an 11-year-old female who was subjected to persecution in El Salvador.
