Nichole R. Davis’s practice focuses on employment litigation, including statutory discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; non-competes and other restrictive covenants; wage and hour issues; contract and tort claims; and government regulations. Nichole has also helped to counsel clients on negotiation of executive employment agreements, consulting arrangements and severance agreements, and employment policies and procedures. She has co-authored the client alert “New York’s Paid Family Leave Law: Employment Law Update for 2018.” Nichole helps conduct trainings for clients with a focus on Anti-Harassment, Professional Conduct and Best Practices for Human Resources Professionals. In addition, she has also handled sensitive internal investigations as counsel to corporate clients.
Nichole also devotes her time to a number of pro bono matters, including representing children in need of special education services. Notably, she represented a student with cerebral palsy in a pro bono matter involving the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Prior to joining Kasowitz, Nichole interned at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in the Office of Federal Operations. She also interned at Duke Energy Corporation in the Office of the General Counsel and served as a Guardian ad Litem in North Carolina.
