Joshua S. Brown’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and white collar defense in state and federal courts. He represents both corporations and individuals in a variety of matters, including government investigations, fraud, racketeering, financial, contract, and real estate litigation.
Josh also devotes time to pro bono matters, and has represented both individuals seeking asylum status and victims of domestic violence.
Prior to joining the firm, Josh held an externship with the Honorable Richard M. Berman, United States District Court, Southern District of New York and the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. He was also an intern with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and the Supreme Court of the United States.
- Both corporate and individual defendants in a criminal securities fraud and SEC enforcement action pending in the Southern District of New York arising out of an alleged scheme to defraud relating to the resale of tickets for Hamilton and other Broadway shows and concerts.
- A private investment fund in multi-year, multi-forum litigation to recoup their investments in a defrauded corporation and defeat third-party claims.
