Third Edition of White Collar Treatise Touted as Extraordinary Contribution to White Collar Bar

The 2014-2015 edition of West’s “Defending Corporations and Individuals in Government Investigations,” co-edited by Kasowitz partner Daniel J. Fetterman and Mark P. Goodman of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, has received high acclaim. The book, which provides guidance on best practices for preventing and defending government investigations in today’s ever-changing regulatory environment and updates on timely case developments, has been touted as “an extraordinary contribution to the white collar bar” by Bruce Green, a distinguished Fordham law school professor and former chair of the Criminal Justice Section, American Bar Association. The Honorable Michael Mukasey, former Attorney General of the United States and former Chief Judge of the Southern District of New York observed that “[a]s a reference book, it belongs on every white collar lawyer’s desk.” John S. Martin, Jr., former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York described the treatise as “an invaluable resource for any lawyer whose client is involved in a criminal or regulatory investigation.” With chapters authored by Mr. Fetterman, Mr. Goodman, and other prominent former prosecutors and white collar defense lawyers, the third edition of the treatise is being used by white collar practitioners throughout the country and by professors at leading law schools like Yale and Harvard.
