Kasowitz Welcomes David H. Kupfer as Special Counsel

Kasowitz Benson Torres is pleased to announce that David H. Kupfer has joined the firm’s New York office as special counsel in its award winning real estate litigation group.

Mr. Kupfer is a trial lawyer with extensive experience litigating complex commercial disputes and representing plaintiffs and defendants in civil and criminal matters and regulatory investigations.  He has represented financial institutions, life sciences and technology firms, venture and private equity funds and real estate firms in bankruptcy, state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration.

Mr. Kupfer also devoted his time to pro bono work, and has regularly represented low-income clients in fair housing and felony criminal matters.  Prior to joining Kasowitz, Mr. Kupfer practiced at an international firm and clerked for the Honorable Henry B. Pitman, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
