Litigation:  Antitrust

KBT&F represents plaintiffs and defendants -- from large corporations that need to litigate against their competitors or are facing multiple class-action lawsuits, to small companies that are being threatened by larger competitors -- in cases alleging price-fixing, bid-rigging, tying, exclusive dealing, conspiracies and attempts to monopolize and monopolization.  The breadth of the firm's overall litigation practice gives us strengthened capabilities in antitrust cases that overlap with other legal areas, such as intellectual property, or that involve scientific or technical issues.

Clients turn to KBT&F when the stakes are high.  Our antitrust lawyers are experienced litigators and are knowledgeable about all facets of antitrust law and legislation, including current antitrust developments.

The firm seeks to keep its clients informed of potentially relevant antitrust government investigations and other developments.  Most recently, for example, the firm achieved a major recovery for one of its clients in an arbitration after the firm had brought to the client's attention the existence of a Justice Department investigation of the underlying anti-competitive conduct by the defendants.
