Ryan D. Ball’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation involving structured finance, securities, real estate and general commercial disputes. Ryan represents public and private companies, as well as individuals, in all aspects of litigation before federal and state courts.
Ryan’s recent representations include several large financial institutions, as trustees of residential mortgage-backed securitizations, in their actions for breach of contract arising out of the residential mortgage crisis. Ryan also represents a financial guarantor in a similar residential mortgage-backed securities action alleging fraud and breach of contract.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was a law clerk to the Honorable Leslie J. Abrams of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
