On September 21, 2009, New York Supreme Court Justice Eileen Bransten granted KBT&F's motion on behalf of Williams Real Estate Co. Inc., a commercial real estate brokerage and property management firm, to dismiss all of defendants' affirmative defenses. The action by Williams against a former employee and others seeks damages for their fraudulent misrepresentations and breach of employment agreement in soliciting a client of Williams and collecting brokerage commissions on the sale of two commercial buildings for a combined $40 million. KBT&F partner Mitchell Schrage and associates Joshua Siegel and Kimberly Mack-Rosenberg represent Williams in this action.
