Partners Marcos Daniel Jiménez, Ann Marie St. Peter-Griffith and associate Courtney Caprio have been selected by the
Daily Business Review as South Florida’s “Most Effective Lawyers” for 2011 in the category for Complex Business/Civil Litigation. Marcos, Ann and Courtney won for their assistance in securing a complete trial victory in an unfair and deceptive trade practices action brought by the Florida Attorney General against client, Alltel Communications, a subsidiary of Verizon Wireless.
Additionally, Marcos and Scott B. Cosgrove were selected as finalists in the same category for helping a French government agency move closer to liquidating six Miami-area real estate properties as part of the effort to recover losses in a nine-figure bank loan fraud where the borrowers absconded with and later hid loan proceeds.
