Eric Askanase's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, healthcare and entertainment law. He has published on Constitutional challenges to the qui tam provision of the False Claims Act. Prior to joining the firm, Eric practiced in the litigation department at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, LLP and clerked for the Hon. William J. Martini in the District of New Jersey.
Before becoming a litigator, Eric was a policy analyst in Washington, D.C. and Paris, France specializing in healthcare and regulatory issues. He also spent many years representing authors and playwrights at a major New York literary and theatrical agency.
