Biography:
Christine Montenegro has represented clients in commercial disputes, products liability and securities fraud cases. Christine also has extensive experience litigating mass tort actions involving claimed exposure to asbestos. She has practiced in federal and state courts and in arbitration around the country.

Ms. Montenegro's recent representations have included:

Represented the indenture trustee for the pre-LBO notes in the Tribune Company bankruptcy;

Litigation trust for a nationwide beverage manufacturer seeking recovery against insiders, auditors, financial advisors, and other third parties;

Insurance company seeking recovery for securities fraud in the federal multi-district litigation relating to the collapse of Parmalat Finanziaria S.p.A.; and

Defending an auto parts manufacturer in a vehicle fire case in New York, where we won summary judgment dismissing the plaintiffs' manufacturing and design defect claims.
